Noontide Visiting Christian Science Nurse Service strives to bring a peaceful, calm, healing atmosphere in support of the activity of the Christ and healing. All calls are treated confidentially, and other individuals are notified only with permission.

 

Our visiting Christian Science nurses are skilled, professional, and metaphysically prepared to assess the need and provide the proper care in the home. Some of the ways we minister to those in need include:

• An expectancy of complete healing

• Assessing surroundings for safety and making helpful suggestions to promote a safe environment

• Assistance with mobility including standing, walking, moving, with or without mobility aids or comfort items

• Personal care and bathing

• Cleansing and bandaging

• Nourishment, preparing and modifying food, feeding, encouraging to eat

• Reading from the Bible, the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, and other authorized literature

• Care for new infants and moms, children, and grown-ups.

• Contact with Christian Science nursing facilities for possible admission.

• No charge Christian Science nurse telephone consultations

• No cost travel to the home of the one needing care

 

Other Services

• Short-term respite care for those caretakers who need time off

• Training in caring for Christian Science family members
